It is through the conceptualization of the quilt that the simple quilt becomes the body and reflects the past. Exemplifying the concept that artists should embed their world around them through the observance of the process of themselves into an object. This has led me to explore language within the framework of textiles and its metaphors.
Creating art that is a reflection of the fleeting nature of memory.  Made up of layers that hold the self within the work and let go with the creation process. My image comes through tactile material and paper to create an installation of one to hundreds. The layers of light create a reflective and translucency state that reveals themselves to the viewer.
